| Mudon – For Year 2 (CE1), Year 3 (CE2), Year 4 (CM1), Year 5 (CM2) and lower secondary (collège) pupils – Oud Metha campus | The school offers a lunchbox service from nursery through to Year 13 (Terminale) from the very first day of school. All the information is available on our website: /scolarite/restaurationscolaire/ The caterer will contact the parents of all pupils already registered for the catering service directly to share the details (menus, payment arrangements, etc.) For lower secondary pupils, the school also offers food at the various kiosks, with salads, sandwiches, etc. Payment is made either with the “canteen card”, which is topped up via the “Spare” online app and will be handed out to pupils during the first week of school, or with a physical bank card. Pupils will not be able to pay with a virtual bank card stored on their mobile phone. As an exception, cash payments will also be accepted during the first two weeks of the school year. |
For Oud Metha pupils:
A lunch box service is offered by our catering provider, Ben’s Farmhouse, for all our pupils from nursery through to Year 13 (Terminale).
ARRANGEMENTS AND PRICES 2026-2027 (information from the caterer):
Registration is per term; fees are as follows:
– Primary (nursery and elementary): AED 29 per lunch box (full lunch + juice)
– Secondary: AED 28 per lunch box (full lunch)
Lunch boxes are ordered via the Spare App (see “payment system” section)
Distribution:
– Primary (nursery and elementary): individual lunch boxes, labelled with the child’s name, are delivered to classrooms before 12 noon.
– Secondary: pupils collect their individual lunch box directly from the kiosks.
* The lunch box includes a full midday meal as described below.

Flexible meal ordering option available
We are pleased to introduce a new flexible meal ordering option, for elementary pupils only. This option has been designed to give families more control and convenience over their children’s daily meals. This flexible option is now live.
Parents can now pre-order their children’s meals one day in advance via the SPARE app, in the Daily Food & Beverages section. This lets pupils choose their favourite meal each day without having to commit to a full termly plan.
To use this service, please make sure all orders are placed before 2:00 pm the day before, as no orders can be accepted after the cut-off time.
Meals can be selected daily and ordered directly through the app.
Please note: the flexible option is strictly limited to elementary classes, Year 1 to Year 5 (CP to CM2).
We hope this added flexibility will make mealtimes easier and more enjoyable for pupils and parents alike. If you have any questions or need help with the app, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The menus for the first six weeks are now available in the SPARE app, in the Useful Links section. Daily and rotating menus will continue to be posted throughout the term.
Important reminders
- All meal plans must be paid in advance to ensure uninterrupted service.
- All orders must be placed exclusively via the SPARE app.
- For Mudon campus pupils, please make sure orders are placed only in the section dedicated to the Mudon campus in the SPARE app.
- Payments made outside this section will be neither valid nor processed.
MENU
Our menu’s designed to provide a Nutrition Balanced diet for your child(ren) which includes healthy set lunch : freshly baked baguette with cheese, salad of the day , choice of the main meal : Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian Meal, side vegetable , healthy dessert of the day.
Below is the first 6-week menu for the upcoming academic year, thoughtfully curated to ensure a balanced and nutritious selection for students.
The menu rotates every 6 weeks to make sure the meal rotation gives new options as per the kids’ eating habits. The menu updates are always posted on the News Feed in the Spare app.
Parents will be notified of the future menus through the Spare App. We are also introducing this year Gourmet Thursdays on alternate weeks with International Thursdays, offering students a diverse and elevated dining experience.

Spare App allows you to purchase your child(ren) meal plan and get updates on any menu changes.
Spare App is very user friendly and allows you to manage one or more kids canteen accounts from the same app.
