iPad Purchase Orders: 2026-2027

LFI continues to offer families the option to purchase an iPad directly from the school, now in its ninth consecutive year. Purchase orders for iPads will be accepted from May 20, 2026.
iPad Purchase & Configuration @FIS – FIS offers families the option to purchase the iPad directly from the school, but this is not mandatory. If you choose to purchase the iPad independently, it must still be configured by the school’s IT technical department through the Personal Device Configuration Service @495AED**
The IT company has been supporting the development of connected classrooms from Year 4 (CM1) to Year 12 (Terminale) for the upcoming academic year. It is offering a comprehensive package featuring the latest iPad A16 11th Gen models.

Large surface iPads can have an attractive entry price; however, you must add VAT, the cover, and Service care for Configuration.
Service Care is a customisation of AppleCare. The big difference is in replacement (not immediate with AppleCare, immediate with Service care), and in the cost of repairs in the event of breakage (2 possible replacements during the term of the insurance for 10% of the price of the iPad with AppleCare; no replacement limit, but cost up to 440AED with Service care).

Delivery Information: School-purchased iPads
The purchased, configured iPad from the school will be delivered to parents in the third week of August, 20th – 22nd August 2026. You will receive an email notification from iPad support regarding delivery and collection from the school, Lycée Français, Oud Metha.
If you are not available in Dubai during the scheduled delivery dates, the iPad can be handed over directly to your child in class, upon receiving a confirmation reply from you.
Parents can choose between the following two options for their child’s iPad:
- Order an iPad through the school, with MDM & ASM configuration.
- Provide your own iPad BYOD (Min 8th Gen, 64GB storage) to the school’s IT department.

Dear Parent,
To get your child’s iPad configured under the BYOD programme, please:
1️⃣ Visit the school reception (near the security desk)
2️⃣ Hand over the iPad to security along with the sticker provided
3️⃣ Write these details clearly on the sticker:
• Student Name
• Parent Name
• Parent WhatsApp
• Branch
The iPad will be configured by IT after payment is completed, and delivered to the classroom by the next day.
No appointment is required — you may drop off the iPad any day next week.
Parents of students in Year 4 (CM1)/Year 5 (CM2), Middle School (Collège) and High School (Lycée) have the option to purchase an iPad from the school with full configuration, or to use their own personal iPad—provided it is at least an 8th Generation iPad with a minimum of 64GB storage—by subscribing to the Configuration package for AED 495, valid for two academic years.
*Note: iPad Mini models & storage of 32 GB are not supported for the BYOD programme.
BYOD Personal iPad Setup Procedures
To ensure your personal iPad meets the school’s technical and security standards, please follow the setup steps below. The service fee is AED 495, which covers configuration and support for two academic years.
Before Bringing Your iPad for Configuration
1. Erase all content and settings on your iPad.
2. Remove the iCloud account and delete all personal photos and data.
3. Bring the iPad to the school’s Technical IT Department at the Initial Setup screen.
Configuration Process
4. The Personal Device Configuration process takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
5. Once completed, the iPad will be:
Supervised by the school & Remotely Controlled by the School. Configured via Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Loaded with all the required educational applications
