2026-2027 Admissions Campaign:

LFI Oud Metha and LFI Mudon: two campuses sharing the same ambition and the same excellence!

Step 1: applications are submitted online via Global Campus:

Important Select 2026-2027 to apply for a place starting next school year. Select 2025-2026 to apply for a place during the current school year.

Below is a summary table showing the year group your child will join according to their year of birth. Example: for the 2026 school year, a child born between 1 January and 31 December 2023 will start in Nursery (Petite Section).

Step 2: once the application is complete, please pay the fee of 500 AED per child by bank transfer.

For further details and our bank details: /admission/frais-de-scolarite/

Step 3: your child’s application is reviewed by the Admissions Committee as soon as the above fee has been received. Parents may be asked to provide additional documents where necessary.

Depending on the circumstances, the admissions process may include an interview with the student and/or their family, as well as a check that the student has the skills required to join the year group concerned. For the youngest children, this may take the form of a short video recorded by the parents; from Year 2 (CP) onwards, it takes the form of tests.

We would like to reassure you: “these are simple assessments, and children who use French regularly generally have no difficulty with them.”

This procedure applies systematically to students who are not coming from an accredited French school.

Step 4: the family is informed of the outcome and, if successful, receives an offer of a place.

Step 5: enrolment is confirmed once the required tuition fees have been paid.

Step 6: KHDA registration procedure. Once your child is enrolled at the LFI, this step is essential to complete their registration with the local authorities and allow them to start school.

You will find all the information here.

This step is compulsory for all students attending school in Dubai.

Some important local requirements:

  • Under UAE regulations, for students born after 31 August and up to 31 December, parents will be required to sign a waiver letter stating that, should the child later transfer to an American- or British-curriculum school within the Emirates, they will have to repeat their year. This applies to classes from Nursery (Petite Section) up to Year 2 (CP).
  • Students already enrolled in a school in the UAE who are transferring from one French school to another are exempt and are not affected by the above regulation.
