The AGORA AEFE website is a platform for exchanging ideas on careers guidance, higher education and student life. Since 2013 it has been available to many secondary school students and recent alumni of French lycées around the world.
AGORA (Alliance Génération Orientation Réseau AEFE) allows students enrolled in French lycées to get in touch with alumni of the AEFE network and discuss their post-Bac plans.
AGORA currently operates in the following regional zones: Asia-Pacific, Near East, Middle East/Indian Peninsula, Iberian Europe and Morocco. The platform is also available to all Excellence-Major scholarship holders. More than 22,000 students and recent alumni of the network are registered on it.
On AGORA, students can ask questions on a Forum moderated by online community managers and receive answers from alumni or fellow students across the network. They can read or watch interviews in which alumni share their experiences of higher education, choosing a course of study, or living in a city somewhere in the world. The News page features updates from schools.
AGORA can also be used during personalised support sessions (AP) for guidance-related activities, to interview alumni, or to find out more about places and courses.
On Thursday 29/09/22, the latest edition of the “Studying outside France” day was held online on the AGORA forum, for secondary students wishing to continue their studies outside France. Through exchanges with alumni of the French lycées worldwide network who are studying internationally, our students were able to get answers to their questions about courses and admission procedures.
